A Toronto lawyer killed in a hit-and-run late Friday afternoon is now believed to have been murdered.
Scott Andrew Rosen was struck by a U-Haul rental vehicle and left for dead in a parking garage near Eglinton Ave. E. and Mount Pleasant Rd.
“It has been determined as being a homicide,” Toronto Police Const. Edward Parks said Saturday
Officers responded to the garage at 234 Eglinton Ave. E. around 5.30 p.m. and located Rosen without vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the U-haul vehicle fled the scene.
Rosen, 52, is the city’s 70th murder victim of the year.
